Nature of Services

All services are provided by a GMC-registered medical doctor and are subject to clinical assessment and professional judgement.

Clarity Medicine does not replace your GP, NHS specialist, or emergency services. Patients are encouraged to remain registered with an NHS GP and to seek NHS or emergency care when appropriate.

No Guarantee of Outcome

Submission of a request or payment does not guarantee that:

  • a prescription will be issued

  • a medical letter, certificate or sick note will be provided

  • a DVLA, council, employer, insurer or third party will accept any document

  • a patient will be eligible for a clinical trial

All decisions are made case-by-case following clinical assessment.

Prescriptions

Private prescriptions are issued only when clinically appropriate and in accordance with GMC prescribing guidance.

If prescribing is deemed not appropriate following assessment, no prescription will be issued, and a refund may be provided in line with our Terms & Conditions.

DVLA, Taxi and Occupational Medicals

DVLA D4, taxi, private-hire and occupational medical examinations:

  • reflect findings on the day of assessment

  • rely on information declared by the patient

  • are completed honestly and accurately

Final licensing decisions rest solely with DVLA or the relevant licensing authority, not with Clarity Medicine or the examining doctor.

Medical Letters, Certificates and Sick Notes

Medical letters, certificates and sick notes:

  • are based on clinical assessment at the time of consultation

  • reflect functional ability and clinical opinion at that time

  • cannot be guaranteed to meet the requirements of third parties

Clarity Medicine cannot alter, omit or misrepresent clinical information.

Clinical Trial Support and Medical Explanations

Clinical trial search and navigation services, and medical explanation or second-opinion style services:

  • are informational only

  • do not constitute diagnosis or treatment

  • do not guarantee trial eligibility, enrolment, or clinical outcomes

Patients should discuss trial participation and treatment decisions with their treating clinical teams.

Clarity Medicine does not provide emergency care.

If you experience:

  • chest pain
